I can relate to this because my favorite college team is not doing so hot this year.

Even if he does something wrong or stupid you always need to stand by his side.

Sentences of the month
"Fine I dont need anaesthetic. Set the leg without it. I can take the pain."
This is one of my favorite sentences. Marcus Luttrell, the main character in Lone Survivor, ends up getting shot in the shoulder. The hospital they are at ask if he needs anistetic and he replys that he does not have enough money or insurance for it so he says the quote above.
"Peace Corps or Marine Corps, just as long as it's hard core."
I liked this sentence because it really depicted how tough the main character in a fighters heart is. He was willing to do anything just to fight.
"Bullfight critics, ranked in rows,
crowd the enourmous plaza full.
But only one is there who knows,
And he's the man that fights the bull."
I really like this because having been a wrestler I understand that it is just you and the other person across from you, you have to ignore what is going on around you and focus on the objective.

Sentences of the week
A Fighters Heart pages 159- 262
1. "..bored of no booze and no girls and the monotony of hitting the pads and pounding the bags."
2."I throw a knee, just a little one. I feel it smush into his gut, into the softness underneath his rib cage, and to my astonishment he colapses, just goes straight down."
3. "Yaquit spoke to me very intensely. 'Sam, elbow', he said, making an elbow gesture."
The last sentence may not seem very interesting but the fact is that the person that is saying that has literally never said one word.

So im still reading this book called the lone survivor. I still find it hard to believe that they all put themselves through that crazy stuff! Im finally getting to the part where they actually invade one of the bases on the hindu kush mountain range. The SEAL's approach in a blackhawk helicopter, which I do not know how they did that at all because it is so loud. Literally once all of the SEAL's exit the chopper there is an avalanche of gunfire. The main character, who is also the author of the book, Marcus takes command of the situation and tells them all to take cover. Though there is like no cover whatsoever they seem to find some in some tiny bushes. That is really where I stopped reading. This situation exhibits another amazing power of the human body, and this is called adrenaline. It is truly amazing what our bodies can do while put into a life or death situation. Many people also call this the fight or flight mode. I am really excited to keep reading this book, it never fails to keep me on the edge of my seat.

This sentence is really a poem that i found interesting.
"Bullfight critics, ranked in rows,
crowd the enourmous plaza full.
But only one is there who knows,
And he's the man that fights the bull."
This gave me a little chuckle.
"Peace Corps or Marine Corps, just as long as it's hard core."
This is so tough.
"He wore a golden 'dollar-sign' ring on his right hand, his 'money' hand."
"At Fairtex, everything fights-the roosters, the dogs, the men."
